Kelly Hsiao is an award-winning underwater fine art photographer based in Maui. Her work has been described as “floating surrealism” and “photography as painting,” blending elements of the ocean, fashion, and aquatic performance into ethereal, figurative compositions.
A graduate of Pratt Institute in New York (BFA, Photography) Hsiao’s work has been exhibited internationally in cities including New York, San Francisco, Miami and Barcelona, with an exhibition at FotoNostrum Gallery in July 2025. She is the recipient of international acclaim, including the prestigious 24th Julia Margaret Cameron Award, and continues to develop a body of work that merges artistry, elegance, and a deep connection with nature.
Guided by a mission to inspire higher consciousness, her imagery invites viewers to align with the fluid, transformative energy of water.
